St. Andrews PrayerMinistry

Healing Ministry has a long-standing history at St. Andrew’s, but many of its elements had fallen away over the years. Healing prayer is now back to being firmly established as an important ministry at St. Andrew's!

Individual Prayer

Each week at Sunday Services, time is set aside to pray for individuals who are in need of healing or want to stand in intercession for loved ones needing healing. During this time prayer, the congregation participates in laying on hands, the individual is anointed with oil, and corporate prayer is lifted on the person’s behalf.  Pastoral care is also available to those who are sick and unable to attend church are for those who are in the hospital.  Call the office at 685-9259 if there is a prayer or pastoral care need.

Prayer Chain

Betty Palmer is in charge of the prayer chain at St. Andrews.  People from our congregation or community who are ill, suffering from addictions, have a concern for a loved one, or need prayer for God's provision can be added to the list to be lifted up in intercessory prayer by a variety of individuals in the church who have a heart for this ministry.  Just call the church office at 719-685-9259 to be added to the list.
